I would have to say that I have not cried over a movie since I was young, but movies do sometimes make me extremely sad. The most recent movie that made me extremely sad was Marley and Me. I have no idea why this movie got to me, but it did. I think it was the way the story was put together. This is because Marley was the family dog that always caused trouble, however you began to love Marley through every bit of trouble Marley caused. However when The movie changed and Marley became sick, it was one of the hardest things to watch. It was because Marley was suffering and it was super sad to see. However the saddest part was the funeral where the kids were talking about Marley.

ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to pet stories making you feel terribly depressed. I actually didn't watch "Marley and Me" because I didn't want to cry my eyes out. What would be saddest for me is that it would think about my own dog who died a little under 2 years ago. Even though it was that long ago, I still think about her frequently. Dogs definitely become a routine part of life that you miss when it's gone. I think that's what makes "Marley and Me" so sad.
